This week is another simple assignment. I want you to watch the song videos on the "song videos" tab, and specifically discuss the Gaudete recording. Write down at least two aspects of the video that stuck out to you. In addition, practice all available practice recordings for at least 40 minutes between now and next chorus.
Example: 1) I watched all of the videos. (Please tell the truth) 2) I liked _____, and ______ in the video BECAUSE _____ (example - your answer should look better) 3) I practiced my music for at least 40 minutes. (Please tell the truth)

I watched all the videos. One aspect that stood out to me in the Gaudete video is when the group spread out as they started to split into their own parts of the cannon. Also another part that stood out was how they would move and dance around then when told by the conductor they would stand still. I liked both of these aspects because they are visually appealing to the audience. Lastly I practiced all of our songs for at least 40 minutes.

I watched the videos and practiced for 40 min. I liked how in Gaudete all the men seamed to be into the music they were singing. This was interesting to me because sometimes we don't do this in our chorus. Also, something that stuck out to me was when in the beginning there were solos. Are we going to do this?

Yes u watch the videos, so in gaudete I liked it how I could tell that every one was singing because the sound was full. I also liked how they made the performance like a play kind of, like how they started softly but had a full sound and then they popped out with movements and stuff. In marry run I liked it how the soloist really sung out and we could hear all of the other parts. I also really like the epic ending. All of the parts blended week with each other especially the woman's solo.

Yes, I watched all the videos. In the videos, I liked how into the song the guys in Gaudete were, with strong expression and had lots of movements that kept the watcher interested. I also liked in the Run, Mary, Run video how the sections didn't overpower one another, and it had very good balance. I, in all honesty, only practiced with the files for about 20 minutes, 40 minutes in total, counting watching the videos, which I hummed/quietly sang for some of.

I watched all of the videos. I liked how in Gudete they used what sounded like pots and trash can lids, it's made the song feel like I'm standing on an old street listening to street performers bang on pots and pans. In Run Mary Run, I like the type of drum that was used, it made a weird, but nice, sound at the beginning. I practiced for about 35 to 40 minutes
